We are scouting for a steady-handed, kind-hearted human to coordinate the day-to-day customer and wholesale experience for Friend Notebooks.

As our community grows, we want to ensure our support remains as thoughtful and intentional as the products we create. We’ve reached a point where we need a dedicated person to not just “manage tickets,” but to truly own the experience our customers have with us—from the individual notebook lover to our retail stockists across the globe.

As our Customer Experience Coordinator, you’ll be the bridge between our systems and our community. You’ll be the one solving shipping mysteries, helping a wholesale partner stock their shelves, and proactively refining our online systems to make the customer journey even more seamless.

ABOUT US

Creator’s Friend is an Australian e-commerce brand based in Far North Queensland. We offer a unique range of specialty notebooks for planning, logging, and reflecting on the best parts of life. We pride ourselves on a supportive, joy-filled workplace where we value making space for fulfillment.

  • Be E-commerce Fluent: You understand the lifecycle of an online order—from the moment a customer clicks “buy” to the second it lands on their doorstep. You are comfortable navigating the back-end of online stores and shipping platforms and can master new digital tools with speed and precision.
  • Have an ” Task Owner” Mindset: We aren’t looking for someone to just follow a script. We want someone who understands how e-commerce ecosystems work and takes the initiative to improve a workflow or update a system before a problem repeats.
  • Balance the “Warm” and the “Work”: Our brand is awkward, utilitarian, and deeply human. You need to be able to liaise with a boutique store owner about their wholesale order one minute, and help a customer find the right planner for their “fast brain” the next—all with the same level of care.
  • Be Admin-Obsessed: Wholesale requires an eye for detail. You’ll be responsible for processing orders, answering stockist queries, and coordinating with our dispatch team to ensure our products reach shop floors perfectly.

Candidates must have demonstrated e-commerce customer service experience to be considered for this Customer Experience Coordinator position.

This is a fully remote role, however, we want to start things off on the right foot. You’ll need to be available to travel to our home base in Townsville for one week of paid training to meet the team and see how our world works from the inside. The role will require hours worked each weekday, but there is flexibility on start and end times. Australian work rights are required for this position.
