PWHL Vancouver unveil uniforms for inaugural season

“With these jerseys coming out, it definitely makes you a lot more excited for that home opener, and we’re just itching to get started.”

Both jerseys sport ‘VANCOUVER’ in block letters diagonally across the chest. This follows the creative direction the PWHL took with their original six teams, with plans for the team names and logos to be revealed ahead of their second season in 2026-27.
The jerseys showcase the Pacific blue and cream colour scheme the team unveiled earlier in the year, but now they’ve added a new colour to the mix: earthy bronze. The home jersey predominantly showcases blue with cream shoulder yokes and bronze stripes, while the reverse is featured on the road jerseys.
Bronze isn’t a colour that’s been associated with the Vancouver pro sports scene until now. The reason for its addition was simple to Amy Scheer, the PWHL’s Executive Vice President of Business Operations.
“It’s earth,” Scheer said. “Here you’re between the sea and the mountains, and it sort of represents earth. We think [it’s] part of the Vancouver landscape and trying to find colours that are also different, right?”
There was certainly a desire to differentiate themselves from their local counterparts. “We don’t want to look like every other team,” Scheer said. “We want to find our own niche and while we want to be part of the Vancouver sports ecosystem, we also want to carve out a name and a brand for ourselves as well.”

Both jerseys sport the PWHL logo on the front collar and right shoulder, while the left shoulder features Canadian Tire as the team’s jersey sponsor. Canadian Tire also sponsors the jerseys for the league’s other three Canadian teams: the Toronto Sceptres, Ottawa Charge and Montreal Victoire.
As for equipment, fans can expect blue pant shells and gloves to go with the home sweaters, though no gear has been confirmed for the road uniforms. Campbell already has her new set of goalie equipment on the way, having finished the design process earlier. “I’m super excited to have these colours, and they were really fun to work with,” Campbell said. “I can’t wait to see the final product and put it all together.”
Fans will get their first look at the full home uniform when PWHL Vancouver plays their inaugural game against their expansion cousins, PWHL Seattle, at the Pacific Coliseum on November 21.
