About the Role

The Manager, Art Direction & Brand Creative partners closely with the Associate Creative Director and the broader Banana Republic creative team on leading brand creative with a focus on image making, brand identity, digital marketing and social media. This role will be responsible for owning projects from concept through to delivery, working from briefs as well as initiating and pitching ideas. The role is an exciting opportunity to build and evolve the Banana Republic brand presence with content that delivers newness and relevance.

What You’ll Do

  • Concept, develop and execute brand creative inclusive of photo art direction, video content, and design across digital and social channels
  • Translate campaign themes into strategic channel specific concepts that amplify business goals and initiatives
  • Stay abreast of retail and fashion landscape and infuse trends into brand relevant executions
  • Concept and direct short form video content and animation, inclusive of storyboarding, art direction, editing treatments
  • Support or lead photoshoot concept and preproduction planning
  • On-set direction of photo and video shoots, collaboration with photographers, stylists, creative directors and cross functional partners
  • Initiate and manage post-production processes of selects, retouching, video editing direction
  • Own work through all phases-concept, development, refinement, delivery
  • Own multiple creative projects at the same time
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout all deliverables
  • Collaborate and strategize with cross-functional teams including marketing, copy, site merch, project management and production through lifecycle of projects

Who You Are

  • A culturally aware tastemaker with a passion for fashion, luxury, and trends
  • Skilled at image making, design and branding with an elevated sensibility
  • Inspired by the changing creative landscape – you’re social, experiential, and brand obsessed
  • An innovative and conceptual creator, skilled at merging art with commerce
  • Experienced with photoshoot concept, prepro and on set art direction
  • Experienced with video content creation and animation, digital storytelling
  • Understanding of social media landscape
  • Strong organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where deadlines, priorities, and initiatives pivot frequently
  • Love collaboration, discourage competition
  • Embody a positive and solutions oriented mindset
  • 5+ years relevant experience, retail or luxury background preferred
  • Expert in the Adobe Suite, Keynote, Video editing and animation skills a plus

Salary Range: $112,100 – $148,500 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
