Brigid McLaughlin is a sustainable niche designer womenswear company who prides itself on delivering the highest quality products within the international marketplace.
The company produces two brands Brigid McLaughlin and PORCELAIN Brigid McLaughlin the companies resort line.

As a company we produced carefully crafted clothes that only do good; clothing that is great for our customers, good for our makers, the earth and its inhabitants.

We describe what we do as SLOW CLOTHING; which we believe to be the new luxury. Artisanal, Sustainable, Ethical, Nature Positive, Australian.

We need a talented highly motivated “store and design studio all rounder” to join our small team, who shares our ideals of striving for excellence in all we do and ensuring that the company works as efficiently and sustainably as possible through all processes.

Someone with a creative eye who enjoys styling both our clients, our retail space and our Ecommerce store would be the perfect candidate.

We have a unique store and studio in Haberfield Sydney that operates as one open space where visitors can view the operations of the design room.

• Be able to build strong positive relationships with our customers, stockists, agents and makers.

  • Manage the Retail Store and Ecommerce Store including all customer enquiries and communications.
  • Manage Digital Marketing, Social Media and Communications in collaboration with Brigid.
  • Co-ordinate all retail operations and manage all stock within our store and our website.
  • Co-ordinate wholesale orders and communication with stockists.
  • Manage all E-Commerce Operations from running the website through to Customer Service and Dispatch of Online Orders.
  • A key responsibility will be to work closely with the company director to ensure retail, wholesale and online budgets are met.
  • This is a unique role for someone looking for a job in fashion sales, digital marketing and/or operations.
  • Any level of experience is welcome to apply we are looking for the candidate best suited to the companies ethos.
  • The role can be adapted to an extent to suit the abilities and interests of the applicant.
  • This is a full time position at five days a week.
  • Days worked can be Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday – this is open to negotiation.

 

A DESCRIPTION OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

RETAIL SALES

The company operates from an open plan space in Haberfield NSW. We have a retail space at the front of the premises and a sample room at the rear. In this role you would be required to manage our casual retail clients. We strive to build long lasting relationships with our retail clients, so we are looking for someone who enjoys relationship building and who has the confidence to give personal styling advice.

 

WHOLESALE

Manage all communications, order entry and stock management for Wholesale sales and orders.

 

E-COMMERCE

The job includes uploading all new products to ensure the Ecommerce Store is always up to date with new offerings and most importantly inventory levels are carefully monitored to ensure they are correct at all times.

 

DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Work with Brigid on Digital Marketing strategies to constantly be attracting new clients to both the Retail store and Ecommerce Site.
  • Promoting sales with Digital Marketing.
  • Experience with Paid Advertising in Meta Ads, Google Ads and Pinterest is ideal however training can be provided if required.
  • The role includes ensuring all social media channels are consistently updated and fully utilised for the maxim benefit of the company.
  • Monitoring the Social Media Reports/data to help devise future strategies for consistent growth.

 

PRODUCTION AND STOCK MANAGEMENT

  • Assist with Production management both local and international.
  • Manage all stock independently.

 

DISPATCH

  • You will be responsible for dispatch of all wholesale and E-Commerce orders.
  • Ensuring all goods are presented consistently to the company’s high standards.
