We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Product Developer & Sustainability Coordinator to join our fast-paced product team. With a strong foundation in footwear and at least two years of industry experience, you’ll play a key role in managing the production lifecycle – owning timelines, specs and supplier communications – while leading key sustainability initiatives across our product ranges.
You’ll work closely with the Product and Sustainability teams, owning end-to-end processes from sample approval to packaging and compliance. This is a hands-on, collaborative role that requires strong organisation, clear communication and a genuine passion for footwear and responsible production.
- Create and manage detailed production spec sheets and product data entry in our system.
- Own tracking and approval of all bulk sample and material submissions.
- Manage seasonal range board creation and communication with internal stakeholders.
- Manage the sample and production schedule with suppliers to ensure timely product delivery.
- Approve packaging components and ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Update and distribute supplier manuals and process documents as needed.
- Organise fit sessions; ensure sample flow supports critical path timelines.
- Conduct trend and competitor research, including retail visits, to support range development.
- Provide administrative and organisational support to the wider product team.
- Ensure excellent communication with suppliers and work alongside the team to manage the critical path, an instrumental tool of the department & highlight any delivery concerns to the team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sustainability documentation, including supplier certifications, supply chain traceability, and LCA records.
- Manage product component breakdown sheets and reporting.
- Research and recommend innovative materials, packaging, and shipping solutions with a lower environmental impact.
KEY SKILLS
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a footwear product development or production role.
- Proven experience working directly with suppliers and managing production timelines.
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills for CAD creation and product documentation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Passionate about the footwear with a strong interest in sustainability and innovation.
