Long Story Short is a Melbourne-based creative agency specialising in compelling and meaningful brand storytelling. Our work spans lo-fi digital-first campaigns to fully integrated brand campaigns for local and international fashion, beauty, events and lifestyle clients.

We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Content Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging content, aligning with our clients’ brand voices and marketing objectives. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of current social media trends.

• Manage end-to-end production of lo-fi videos for a range of clients – from client briefing and ideation to shooting and editing your own content
• Conceptualising and pitching unique and tailored video concepts
• Working as part of the wider team, assisting with the production of larger campaigns and collaborating with external photo and video teams
• Independently managing internal workflow and, client content and filming schedules
• Staying up to date with the latest in social media and industry trends and technology

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience creating (shooting and editing) lo-fi content for fashion, beauty, lifestyle or retail industries
• A keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and visual storytelling
• Proficient in a range of video editing programs (on-the-job training available, but some editing experience, eg Capcut, required)
• Proficient with Canva. Adobe Creative Suite a bonus
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and an ability to apply client brand guidelines across a range of video and visual assets
• Experience managing budgets and client timelines
• A strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram and Tiktok
• Ability to work efficiently, managing multiple clients and deadlines
• Our ideal candidate would have a car and driver’s licence in order to travel to and from shoots
• 2-3 years experience in a similar role
