At The Iconic, we’re on the hunt for a talented SEO Copywriting Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in creating high-quality, SEO-optimised content that drives organic traffic, boosts search engine rankings and enhances user engagement.

  • Produce clean, keyword-optimised SEO content for brand, category and bespoke landing pages across The Iconic’s catalogue
  • Edit and upload content into The Iconic’s CMS, ensuring accurate population of metadata and hyperlinking as required
  • Implement market-leading SEO techniques, optimising meta titles, descriptions, headers, and internal linking
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to enhance the quality and consistency of our SEO content
  • Track and analyse content performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush or Ahrefs, making data-driven decisions to improve SEO outcomes
  • Conduct regular site and content audits to identify legacy content that can be improved or updated, making recommendations as needed
  • Analyse competitor content and SEO strategies, identifying opportunities and market gaps to enhance our competitive edge
  • Partner with UX, product and content marketing teams to ensure all content is optimised for both search engines and users
  • Keep all SEO content guidelines up-to-date and accurate
  • Manage the end-to-end SEO workflow, working closely with external agencies to action SEO tasks

 

KEY SKILLS

  • SEO Expertise: You have an intimate understanding of SEO and Google best practices, particularly across all devices, with an app-first approach being ideal
  • Fashion eCommerce Knowledge: You possess a strong and comprehensive understanding of fashion eCommerce, along with a deep familiarity with The Iconic’s brand identity
  • Proven SEO Copywriting Experience: Your experience in crafting copy specifically for SEO purposes is extensive, and you understand how to optimize content to drive organic traffic
  • Communication Skills: Your written and verbal communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to clearly articulate ideas and produce engaging, high-quality content
  • Brand TOV Interpretation: You have a keen understanding of the importance of brand tone of voice (TOV) and know how to seamlessly interpret it into content that drives engagement and tells a compelling story
  • Ability to Thrive Under Pressure: You excel in fast-paced environments, maintaining composure and delivering high-quality work, even under pressure
  • Team Player & Self-Starter: You can work autonomously while also thriving as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and collaboration to meet shared goals
