As a casual Dispatch & Production Assistant, you’ll be required a few days per week to help coordinate the creation of our made-to-order pieces. From the moment a customer purchases right through to dispatch of their exceptional quality, personalised order. Providing hands-on production support in the workshop and keeping the customer updated with progress along the way.
We’re currently expanding our in-house capabilities in Marrickville, Sydney, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards for product quality and customer experience. In exchange we’ll provide you with a unique opportunity to engage in local production, learn and develop your own skills and knowledge base.
- Monitor incoming orders and organize them into batches to streamline production processes.
- Proactively communicate with customers through email, providing timely updates on their order status and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
- Implement strategies to enhance order accuracy and reduce processing time, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
- Collaborate with the production network to coordinate order fulfillment and ensure timely delivery.
- Set up 3D Prints and remove finished parts from the machine. No experience required here, just a willingness to learn.
- Provide hands-on assistance in the workshop, including the removal of sprues from raw castings or prepping tools for polishing. Again, no direct experience required.
- Component and Packaging Inventory management. Ordering replacement stock from suppliers to eliminate downtime.
- Packing and shipping of orders.
- Manage returns and exchanges, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
KEY SKILLS
- 2 Years Experience in production, order management, or a similar role within the manufacturing or design industry. Design degree graduates will also be considered
- Exceptional organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and suppliers
- Ability to proactively solve problems and manage challenges and changes in the production process.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Willingness to learn new hands-on techniques
