WHO IS ELIJAH is Australia’s fastest-growing fragrance house, redefining what accessible luxury looks like. In just six years, we’ve scaled from our garage to global retail partners including Sephora, David Jones, and Revolve.
We are seeking a Head of Wholesale to lead our global retail expansion and scale our B2B partnerships. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving wholesale revenue growth, managing key retail accounts, and building a high-performing team. You will own the global wholesale strategy end-to-end — from pitching and securing new partners, negotiating contracts, and managing sell-in calendars, to launching the brand globally through key accounts and ensuring in-store execution that brings our brand to life.
- Key Account Leadership – Own and grow relationships with major global retail partners (e.g. Sephora, David Jones, Revolve, and new international distributors).
- Global Expansion – Launch WHO IS ELIJAH into new international markets by securing and scaling strategic retail partnerships.
- Boutique Wholesale Growth – Lead and expand our network of independent and specialty retailers, ensuring strong performance and alignment with our brand story.
- Sales Growth – Drive B2B revenue targets through effective planning, sell-in strategies, and joint business plans aligned with launches and campaigns.
- Team Leadership – Manage and coach Wholesale Account Managers, Visual Merchandise Manager, and Coordinators.
- Forecasting & Planning – Partner with Operations, Demand Planner, and Finance on forecasting, allocations, and profitability.
- In-Store Excellence – Oversee visual merchandising and retail training to drive sell-through and brand consistency.
KEY SKILLS
- 7–10+ years of experience in wholesale/B2B sales, ideally in beauty, luxury, or fashion.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling retail accounts internationally.
- Strong commercial acumen — skilled in negotiation, contracts, and margin management.
- Leadership experience managing sales teams.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and marketing.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with global retail buyers.
- Experience driving growth through both global key accounts and boutique wholesale networks.
