Bennett University signs MoU with Kent State University (KSU), USA to Launch Dual Degree Program in Fashion Design

The move is set to transform fashion education in India by offering students an international learning experience, cross-cultural immersion, and access to globally acclaimed faculty and infrastructure. It also signifies Bennett University’s strategic expansion in international partnerships, aimed at empowering students with global exposure and industry-aligned skills. Both institutions will work closely to co-develop and align the curriculum, ensuring a seamless transition and comprehensive educational experience across both campuses. This collaboration will allow students to gain cross-cultural perspectives from world-class faculty at both institutions, blending Western fashion practices with India’s rich textile and craft heritage.

The signing ceremony was graced by distinguished guests from Kent State University: Mr. Marcello Fantoni, Vice President of the Office of Global Education; Mr. Paulo Mussi Augusto, Associate Vice President of the Office of Global Education; and Mr. Zeeshan Ansari, Manager of Admissions and outreach at the India Centre.

Kent State’s School of Fashion, consistently ranked among the top five in the U.S., offers students access to state-of-the-art facilities and international learning hubs in New York, Paris, and Florence. Meanwhile, Bennett University’s newly launched School of Design emphasizes interdisciplinary, human-centered learning with advanced labs and robust industry linkages.
