Parlour X is a leading Australian luxury multi-brand boutique founded in 2001. The boutique is headquartered in the iconic St Johns Church in Sydney, Australia. Parlour X is renowned for its curated collection of international fashion designers, including Maison Alaia, Bottega Veneta, Chloé, Jacquemus and Valentino, among others.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Buying Planner located in Sydney, NSW. You will work closely with the Director/Buyer, to ensure smooth running of all aspects of the buying processes. You will liaise with suppliers and help maintain strong relationships with many of Europe’s finest luxury fashion houses.

  • Planning all seasonal Buying Schedules per supplier’s market dates
  • Liaising with the Buyer to schedule buying appointments
  • Working with brand webtools to create and manage comprehensive Purchase Orders
  • Managing Order Confirmations
  • Processing in-season re-orders, swaps, returns.
  • Maintaining supplier relationships and email correspondence
  • Updating the internal delivery schedule each day
  • Analyse and sales reporting for existing stock and re-orders
  • Monthly Sell throughs
  • Managing price alignments and comparisons with all major competitors
  • Managing price updates. markdowns, promotions, and sale time
  • Overseeing Stock level management and liaising with the logistics manager
  • Ensuring shipment triggers; monitoring that the relevant team has regular updated shipment information
  • Creation of Style Documents for eCom Studio
  • Conduit between Buying, Marketing, CRM, E-Commerce and Sales teams
  • Creating & managing the greater Seasonal Buying Document
  • Facilitating rotational stocktakes
  • Maintaining the integrity of Inventory Management platform (Cin7)
  • Maintaining the integrity and updating the daily sales of the customised spreadsheet stocktake

 

KEY SKILLS

  • 5+ years’ experience within an admin planning role
  • 5+ years’ experience in fashion retail sales
  • A solid understanding of, and passion for the wider fashion world
  • Ability to think on a global scale, with both the domestic and international consumers in mind
  • Excellent communication skills and strong verbal communication
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen strong eye for visual details and accuracy
  • Time management skills
  • Highly organised
  • Loves statistics and is data driven.
  • Curious, deep-thinking problem-solver, who can anticipate, take initiative, and be self-sufficient.
  • Exceptional excel aptitude, as well as the other Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Adept at using MAC
  • Cin 7 or similar Inventory software experience
