We are currently seeking an experienced Production and Operations Manager to oversee our offshore manufacturing operations and supply chain from our Auckland CBD location. This full-time, fixed-term position is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our high-quality products to customers globally.

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and sales/margin targets
  • Manage the scheduling of third-party production, coordinating logistics and distribution into market, optimising cost-efficient on-time deliveries
  • Oversee inventory control, including managing third-party warehousing providers
  • Develop and execute the strategy, scaling the business processes and technology to achieve strategic, profit and growth objectives
  • Drive continuous improvements, commercial analytics and sound decision-making into the day-to-day operations of the business
  • Deliver against organisational budgets and margin targets
  • Actively drive obtainment of production and profitability measures across the business
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

KEY SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a production and/or logistics management role, preferably in the offshore apparel manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in production planning, scheduling and inventory control
  • Strong problem-solving, analytics and commercial decision-making skills
  • Experience optimising production and/or operational business processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to lead the business and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Motivated by “getting things done” accurately and quickly, actively looking for opportunities to add value
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and relevant add-ons preferred
