This is an exciting 18-month fixed-term opportunity to join Harris Tapper as a Wholesale Sales Manager. In this 30-hour-per-week role based in Sydney, you will be responsible for managing sales and key accounts within the wholesale fashion industry across Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their needs are met, build strong relationships, and drive profitable business growth. - Cultivate and manage a portfolio of wholesale fashion accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue/margin goals and grow market share
- Monitor and analyse account performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
- Negotiate and secure favourable terms and conditions with clients
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and logistics, to deliver exceptional customer service
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to leverage insights to drive profitable sales performance
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on account performance and market trends
KEY SKILLS
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a wholesale fashion account management or sales role
- Strong understanding of the wholesale fashion industry and its key players
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using CRM systems and data analysis tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients as needed
