This is a full-time, permanent leadership position based at our Greville Street Boutique, requiring flexibility to optimise performance during peak trading periods including weekends and evenings.
The Store Manager serves as the driving force behind boutique success, with comprehensive accountability for team leadership, commercial performance, and operational excellence. You’ll strategically manage all aspects of boutique operations while mentoring the Assistant Store Manager and developing a high-performing team that consistently exceeds customer expectations and business objectives.
- Guide and develop high-performing retail team to exceed customer service and sales objectives
- Conduct strategic performance coaching and professional development sessions with direct reports including Assistant Store Manager
- Support talent acquisition, comprehensive onboarding, and continuous training programs while creating inclusive, dynamic team culture aligned with organisational values
- Champion exceptional customer engagement and personalised retail experiences across all touchpoints
- Model relationship-building strategies to drive customer loyalty and repeat business through VIP client programs and complex customer interaction management
- Collaborate with leadership to analyse performance metrics and identify growth opportunities while driving achievement of sales targets and KPIs
- Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, and seasonal product launches
- Execute visual merchandising strategies and seasonal product launch initiatives with precision
- Ensure operational excellence through rigorous compliance and quality standards while maintaining boutique presentation standards that exceed Henne’s expectations
- Oversee inventory management, stock control, loss prevention protocols, and daily operations including WHS compliance
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions and optimize resource allocation
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports and strategic recommendations for senior leadership while coordinating with Regional Management and support functions
KEY SKILLS
- Minimum 5 years progressive leadership experience in premium retail environments, preferably fashion or luxury brands
- Demonstrated success in team development and performance optimization with measurable results
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding commercial targets and operational KPIs
- Experience managing P&L responsibility and budget oversight
- Background in change management and business transformation initiatives
- Advanced interpersonal and communication capabilities across diverse stakeholder groups
