- As the Assistant Store Manager you will work alongside the Store Manager to lead the team to drive a culture of exceptional customer service and empower the team to deliver a memorable in-store experience every time. You will be involved in training, coaching and developing the team and running the day to day operations of your store.
- Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring exceptional customer experience is always given.
- Follow and implement the Marimekko Art of Sales approach.
- Being an expert in Marimekko product knowledge.
- Ensure the day-to-day operations of the stores are smooth, consistent and follow guidelines.
- Supporting the Store Manager in all team training and development.
- Maintaining visual merchandising to the highest standard.
- Awareness of the stores financials and actively working towards increasing them.
- Assisting with reporting on all key areas of the business.
- Ensuring stock management is a focus and maintains a high level of accuracy.
- Ensuring all marketing and promotional activities are maximised instore.
- Role modelling Marimekko’s corporate culture and values and instilling them in your team.
- Promoting and strengthening a positive brand impression
- Collaborating with the Marimekko team both in stores and Head office to assist in further growth of the business.
- A flexible and can-do positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and a sense of accountability.
- Applicable work permit is required if you are a non-Australian applicant.
