  • As the Assistant Store Manager you will work alongside the Store Manager to lead the team to drive a culture of exceptional customer service and empower the team to deliver a memorable in-store experience every time. You will be involved in training, coaching and developing the team and running the day to day operations of your store.
  • Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring exceptional customer experience is always given.
  • Follow and implement the Marimekko Art of Sales approach.
  • Being an expert in Marimekko product knowledge.
  • Ensure the day-to-day operations of the stores are smooth, consistent and follow guidelines.
  • Supporting the Store Manager in all team training and development.
  • Maintaining visual merchandising to the highest standard.
  • Awareness of the stores financials and actively working towards increasing them.
  • Assisting with reporting on all key areas of the business.
  • Ensuring stock management is a focus and maintains a high level of accuracy.
  • Ensuring all marketing and promotional activities are maximised instore.
  • Role modelling Marimekko’s corporate culture and values and instilling them in your team.
  • Promoting and strengthening a positive brand impression
  • Collaborating with the Marimekko team both in stores and Head office to assist in further growth of the business.
  • A flexible and can-do positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of accountability.
  • Applicable work permit is required if you are a non-Australian applicant.
