The Sr. Manager, eCommerce will lead our direct-to-consumer (DTC) initiatives in Australia. This role, based in Australia, will be responsible for driving digital revenue growth, optimizing the customer journey, and ensuring a premium brand experience across all digital touchpoints. You will collaborate closely with global and regional teams in marketing, technology, operations, and finance to deliver best-in-class eCommerce performance.

You love using consumer behavior insights to solve interesting eCommerce problems and to improve the user journey. Superior communication skills and confidence in working with multiple stakeholders is essential.

  • Lead the Australian DTC business, owning the P&L and driving traffic, revenue, margin, and customer growth.
  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies aligned with global brand goals and local market needs.
  • Collaborate with Global eCommerce Team on Shopify site operations, UX, and merchandising to ensure a seamless and luxurious customer experience.
  • Partner with digital growth team to execute high-impact campaigns, product launches, and promotional strategies.
  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships to expand brand reach and drive traffic to digital channels.
  • Expand lifecycle marketing programs (email and SMS) to drive acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Manage a robust testing roadmap leveraging A/B testing and analytics tools.
  • Monitor KPIs such as conversion rate, AOV, CAC, LTV, and retention; report insights to leadership.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure operational excellence and innovation.
  • Stay ahead of local eCommerce trends and introduce new technologies and best practices.

 

KEY SKILLS

  • Minimum 7 years of eCommerce experience, ideally in beauty, luxury, or consumer goods.
  • Deep understanding of the Australian eCommerce market, including consumer trends, SEO, and compliance standards related to data privacy and security.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and tools for CRO and retention.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Curiosity in leveraging AI-driven tools for research, customer engagement, and team efficiency.
  • Team player with no ego, willing to roll up their sleeves where no task is too large or small.
