As 2IC, you lead by example, supporting the Store Manager to build a capable, confident team and a strong store culture. You drive training in pricing and selection, coach team performance day-to-day, and support with admin and communication to keep the team on track.

PRICING AND SELECTION EXPERT

  • Oversee that pricing KPIS are consistently met with accuracy.
  • Responsible for the quality of stock by ensuring selections aligned with standards, reviewing reductions and providing instruction to the team to adapt to stock levels.
  • Actively provide ongoing training in selection and pricing through regular feedback to individual team members.

 

LEADERSHIP AND TEAM PERFORMANCE

  • Drive team performance and growth, aligned with store KPIs.
  • Set the pace, assign zones, and lead with consistent communication.
  • Ground the team in our values, maintaining proactive energy and focus.
  • Engage in performance discussions and journals, on-the-spot feedback and follow-up coaching.
  • Support training and skill development across the team.
  • Equip and develop your management and supervisor team to confidently step into leadership when required.

 

ADMIN AND REPORTING

  • Complete admin and reporting accurately and on time to support smooth store operations.

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHOP FLOOR

  • Deliver warm, values-aligned service in every interaction.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented shop floor at all times.
  • Step in confidently to resolve basic customer or member questions and issues.
  • Role model service excellence and support a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Carries out floor duties with focus – monitoring fitting rooms, maintaining tidiness, and putting out stock efficiently.
  • Stay alert to potential theft risks and follow prevention procedures to keep the store safe for all.

 

POLICY AND SAFETY

  • Maintain high standards for floor and back-of-house presentation.
  • Stay alert and responsive to WHS risks, theft activity, and team wellbeing concerns.
  • Uphold and promote store policies and procedures, ensuring the team consistently follows best practices to maintain a safe workplace.

This role includes a 3 – 6 month probation – a chance to settle in, build confidence, and see if the role is the right fit for you. It also gives us time to confirm it’s a good match on our side.
