Bella Hadid Stuns At Milan Fashion Week Following Hospital Stay

Bella Hadid is officially back in action. The supermodel and Orebella founder made a triumphant return to the runway at Milan Fashion Week, just weeks after revealing she had been hospitalized while managing Lyme disease.

Bella Hadid Returns To The Runway

Hadid, 28, walked in Saint Laurent’s summer 2026 show on September 29, set in a stunning garden backdrop with the Eiffel Tower looming in the distance. The model stunned in a translucent backward trench coat, paired with oversized sunglasses and dramatic statement earrings. Vogue captured the moment live, sharing Hadid’s walk to Instagram, where fans praised her return to high fashion’s biggest stage.

The show notes described creative director Anthony Vaccarello’s vision for the collection: “In a time when dialogue is fading, style becomes a form of discourse – not one that imposes, but one that connects and adds nuance. Where words divide, the Saint Laurent aesthetic creates space to breathe and invent new analogies.”

Hadid’s runway comeback followed a sighting in Paris just days earlier, where she was photographed looking chic in a brown trench coat and black oval sunglasses while carrying a Coach bag. Around the same time, she shared a treadmill update on Instagram, telling followers she was working on getting her “stamina back” during her “first day in the gym in a long time.”

The Supermodel Shares a Personal Look At Recovery

On September 17, the model posted a series of candid Instagram photos showing herself recovering in a hospital bed, hooked up to IV bags. In the caption, she apologized for being “MIA” and reassured fans of her love for them.

In the images, she appeared resting beside a crochet angel, eating pizza, and enjoying sunsets and rainbows outside her hospital window. Friends and family were also shown visiting her, while her mother, former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Hadid, called her a “❤️Lyme warrior” in the comments.

Her sister, Gigi Hadid, added: “I love you! I hope feel as strong and good as u deserve, soon!!!!!!”

Hadid has been open about her ongoing health struggles since being diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, alongside her mother and younger brother Anwar Hadid.

In a 2023 Instagram post, she shared that she had undergone “100+ days of Lyme, chronic disease, [co-infection] treatment [and] almost 15 years of invisible suffering,” but finally felt healthy for the first time in years. “The little me that suffered would be so proud of grown me for not giving up on myself,” she wrote.
